Woolly Winterland Catwalk

St Georges Square, Huddersfield, inside the Winter Festival TeePees, 5-8pm (catwalk 6-7pm)
WOVEN and the Winter Festival invite you to step out, step up and show off your wonderful handmade winter wardrobe!
We know how much talent there is in Kirklees for making your own amazing items of clothing, so we want to give you all the opportunity to show off your skills in a festive, fun environment.
If you need a challenge and want to make something new, or if you have something already made to dazzle an audience with, then please do sign up!
Inside the Winter Festival Tee Pees we will create a catwalk space for you to get your jingle on, or if you’re a bit shy we can find someone to model for you. There will be an MC to give you and your outfit a big shout out, along with workshops and opportunities to share ideas and have fun with other people from the making community.
To take part:
- You must be free from 5-8pm on the 15th of December to support the event and take a bow!
- We want you to bring family and friends so that each item gets a big reception.
- You can be a maker of any age, you just need to click on the link below to sign up yourself, or help someone you know fill out the form, and let us know what it is you’re showing off.
We will organise a collection point before the event and make sure we have all the information we need from you to give every item a big shout out.
