OPEN PLANNING MEETINGs WILL BE HELD ONLINE FROM APRIL 2020

Please get in touch if you would like to receive information about how to take part in the Open Planning process.

We are keen to make the planning and development process for WOVEN 2021 as transparent and accessible as possible, for everyone involved in the pilot festival in June 2019 and to anyone new who would like to get involved for 2021.

As a result we will be holding Planning Meetings (open to all) roughly every three months to which anyone can bring general thoughts and ideas for WOVEN generally or plans for specific projects.

The dates for 2020 are:

Thursday 16 Jan – Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield, 6pm-8pm

Thursday 2 April, 3pm – ONLINE

Thursday 2 July, 3pm – ONLINE

October date TBC – location TBC

Each Open Planning Meeting could include:

  • A presentation to highlight a key stand of festival content
  • Updates from the curators
  • Opportunities to present or talk about your projects and ideas as well as make connections and ask for any support you might need
  • Informal opportunities to network with other WOVEN partners

Meetings will be held in different locations across the district (when this is allowed again) and will be updated as they are confirmed.
