The Textile Trail will combine a series of open days in business, industry and heritage sites, as well as details of independent textile artists/makers with their own premises, textile-based shops and suppliers.
The intention is to open the doors to places people might not know about and create a buzz about exploring, making, and shopping for textiles. We want to put these places on the festival map, creating a Textile Trail that will include some locations that might just open especially for one day during the festival (Sat 8th – Sun 16th June), and some that are open all the time, that we can draw attention to and publicise throughout the festival.
