Growing Colour Together Community Briefings

Come and find out about what’s happening for WOVEN23, and how you and your community can get involved with Growing Colour Together.

Growing Colour Together is more than a project – it’s a MOVEMENT! Our ambition is to create a district-wide, natural-dye colour garden.

Working in partnership across the district we want to give everyone the opportunity to ‘have a grow’, use what’s grown to make natural dyes, and learn about the environmental implications of chemical dyes.

We have received Arts Council England funding to set up artist in residency schemes across three areas of Kirklees to help you get growing, making, creating and debating!

We will have an exciting textile workshop from one of our GCT artists and presentations on the project from the WOVEN team along with some free growing resources for you to take away and get started. Refreshments available.

Come and join us for one of our Growing Colour Together Community Briefings:

Birkby and Fartown Library – Tues 22 November
Kirkburton Library – Wed 23 November
Thrive Connect, Dewsbury – Mon 28 November
