We want to inspire young people about the thriving textile industry in Kirklees and highlight the diverse careers that the industry now offers, including those in science, technology and engineering as well as art and design.
We are holding our first Teacher virtual event on Wednesday 9 December 4 – 5.30pm This event is an opportunity to meet leaders from the Department of Fashion and Textiles and Technical Textiles Research Centre at the University of Huddersfield and be part of conversations that will help to shape an exciting textile career programme for young people in Kirklees.
