Wakefield’s Calico Dress Sessions

Be part of creating Wakefield’s Calico Dress, join fun and creative sessions to stitch Wakefield’s stories into a community-embroidered dress.

Everyone is welcome and no experience needed. You can join as an individual, group or organisation.

The completed dress will be showcased at WOVEN Festival 2027, celebrating what is being achieved locally and telling Wakefield’s story alongside calico dresses from Kirklees and wider West Yorkshire.
