We want to celebrate all the talented people in Kirklees who use their stitch powers for good!
- Does your grandmother stitch or knit your baby clothes?
- Does someone you know repair rips and replace zips to save the planet
- Are you or do you work for an amazing tailor in Kirklees fighting the fight against fast fashion?
- Do you make your own clothes, or make clothes for family?
- Do you belong to a stitch group and want to share stories of your members, and to build your group
You are all stitch heroes and you need to be celebrated! If you nominate someone, we will show them off online and on social media.
HOW TO NOMINATE
There are two ways to nominate your Stitch Hero. You can either:
- Send a direct message on our social media channels @woveninkirklees
- Or send us an email
Please include the following information in your message:
- your name
- your email address
- a postal address where we can send a certificate for you to give to your Stitch Hero
- the name of the person you’d like to nominate as a Stitch Hero
- a short paragraph about why they are a Stitch Hero
- if you have images of your Stitch Hero and/or their social media handle, and you know that they’d be ok with you sharing this with us, please do send that too.
