‘Made in Huddersfield’ is a performance exploring the town’s rich textiles industry of the past and present. The performance highlights stories reflecting the impact of pandemics, fast fashion and the industrial revolution. These stories are brought to life by the extraordinary young people of Kirklees who, despite the recent challenges of lockdown, came together and co-created this thought provoking performance featuring pre-recorded material and scenes delivered live on Zoom.
This production was researched, written, produced and performed by young people in collaboration with Chol Theatre and Ignite Yorkshire.
