Get Involved - Festival Volunteering

We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring this year’s exciting programme to life throughout June. Whether you’re into textiles, events, or community vibes – there’s a role for you!

Volunteer roles include:

• Supporting workshops and creative sessions
• Event set-up and stewarding
• Gathering feedback from participants
• Data input and helping us understand the impact of the festival

Invigilate The Red Dress Exhibition

Stitch Saturdays – Every Child Challenge Sewing Workshops

The Chestnuts in Fabric Bloom – 6 June
The Chestnut Centre | All day event

Flower Power Ravensthorpe – 14 June
Ravensthorpe Community Centre | 11am–4pm

Textile Heritage Day – 21 June
Tolson Museum | 12–4.30pm

WOVEN Dewsbury Mash-Up – 28 June
Dewsbury Town Centre  | 11am–8pm

We also need people to help with pre-festival activity at Thread Republic and our Dewsbury Clothes swaps to help de-stash free materials for event organisers.
