Join us for World Stitch Day, a vibrant celebration of the universal language of stitch and textiles! Inspired by the iconic Red Dress Embroidery Project, this immersive event brings together community groups, expert stitchers, and textile enthusiasts to explore the rich tapestry of global embroidery traditions.

What to Expect:

Live Showcases – Watch master stitchers from diverse cultures demonstrate their traditional techniques.

Interactive Stalls – Discover stunning fabrics and embroidery styles from around the world.

Storytelling in Stitch – Explore projects that weave together history, heritage, and artistry.

Hands-On Workshops – Try your hand at embroidery techniques from different countries and take home your own stitched creation!

Whether you’re a seasoned stitcher or a curious beginner, World Stitch Day is your chance to celebrate creativity, heritage, and the power of textiles to unite us all.

FREE to attend and drop in anytime.

WOVEN is a not for profit festival and donations are welcome on the day.
