To kick off WOVEN 2025, we’re hosting a WORLD STITCH DAY on June 1st at The Barn, Oakwell Hall, Birstall — and we want YOU to be part of it!

We’re inviting community groups, stitchers, and anyone passionate about textiles to showcase their skills, share their heritage, and connect with others. This is a unique opportunity to celebrate the diverse stories woven through stitch and textiles.

We’d love to hear from you if you:
✨ Have heritage textiles or garments you’d like to share.
✨ Use stitching techniques passed down through your family.
✨ Work with community groups with stitch skills worth celebrating.

What we’re offering:
🌟 A beautiful space to share your skills, stories, and textiles.
🌟 A chance to hear Kirstie Macleod discuss the Red Dress and get your book signed.
🌟 Warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere to connect with fellow stitch enthusiasts.

📅 Date: 1st June 2025
⏰ Time: 11 AM – 4 PM (Open to the public)
📍 Location: The Barn, Oakwell Hall, Birstall

Interested in getting involved?
Email us at Woven@hatchprojects.org.uk by April 16th, 2025 to secure your spot!

Come share your story, your skills, and your love for textiles — let’s make this a day to remember!
