Yarn Bombing at Roberttown Village

Roberttown craft and chatter are a community group who have enjoyed working together to create this wonderful installation at Roberttown Village – described as a ‘close knit community’.

Look out for a flock of sheep decorating railings, a nod to the village’s heritage of sitting within the Heavy Woollen District. The sheep have been lovingly made from both yarn donated to our group and samples that have been repurposed.

Each one is different in shape, size, colour and texture, representing the differences between us all but that together they form a powerful flock.

There are also 12 bollard toppers to be found, depicting various aspects of this colourful village and it’s community.
