Crowdfunding workshop

This year we are working with the Growing Great Places crowdfunding programme to ensure even more groups can get involved in WOVEN Festival 2025.

Growing Great Places is a crowdfunding programme run by Kirklees Council, supporting people in making the places where they live, work and play better.

Through this programme funding of up to £5,000, is available.

WOVEN in Kirklees have joined the programme for the new funding round, with additional support and funding of £500 available for communities wishing to realise small textiles projects as part of the WOVEN festival 2025.

Textile projects have the opportunity to access funds from both the Growing Great Places and Woven in Kirklees funds, up to a maximum of 50% of your crowdfunding target.

We will be holding online workshops for groups with an idea for a textile project, who want to hear more.

The workshops will cover:

– Hear about funding available to help make your ideas happen.

– Get advice on creating your textile project and the support available from Woven in Kirklees

– Join interactive breakout rooms to access specialised support for your project
