Even when there’s no big festival happening, there’s often lots of textile events happening across Kirklees.

The ‘Quilted: Community, Creativity and Care’ exhibition celebrates the art of collaborative quilt making so join us in making a new collaborative quilt.
These sessions give you the chance to make your own square for the quilt. Though this isn’t a taught workshop, Threads of Survival volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and there are lots of different ways to decorate the quilt square: no sewing skills necessary – just enjoy your creativity!
Come to one or more sessions. Squares completed by Wednesday 28th June will be included in the new quilt, which will be unveiled during the last week of WOVEN.
