Stitched Baskets, Coasters and Placemats Workshop

In this workshop we’ll create baskets using cotton cord, colourful thread and scraps of fabric! This creates a soft but durable basket, coaster or placemat. You can choose the shape and add handles or leave it as a bowl shape.

Sewing Skill Level: Basic sewing machine skills needed

You’ll need: Bring your sewing machine- we have a few you can use so please let me know if you’d like to use one of ours, but it’s best to learn on your own.

Materials included: Cotton cord, sewing thread, fabric
