To celebrate the Red Dress being at Oakwell Hall, we are running Stitch Saturdays – family fun workshops with a focus on textile repair and mending skills for a more sustainable future – Every Child Challenge focuses on helping to teach young people essential textile skills, and basic sewing skills that they can use and enjoy.

Free to attend, no booking required just drop in.

Accessibility Information: Both onsite car parks have disabled spaces. Accessible toilets. The ground floor is fully accessible, but due to the historic building, access for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues cannot be provided to upper floor. Stairs, low doorways and uneven surfaces may also limit access.
Transport Information: By train: The nearest National Rail station is Batley Railway Station. By bus: The 180 and 229 run between Leeds and Huddersfield.
