Discover the WOVEN 2025 Festival Programme and upcoming events
An event every week that begins at 11:00 am on Saturday, repeating until June 28, 2025
Join MakerWorlds’ lead artist Isobel Denton, a natural dye expert (Abitmoreink) to delve into the vibrant world of natural dyes and plants harvested from her dye garden in Thurstonland.
Workshops will introduce children and families to creative, experimental textile techniques with sustainability at their core. The sessions offer a fun, hands-on experience where children can explore making, with a touch of science and magical alchemy along the way.
Informal drop-in workshops for pre-schoolers are on Friday mornings 10am-12noon.
Family drop-in workshops for children of all ages are on Saturdays 11am-3pm.
