Discover the WOVEN 2025 Festival Programme and upcoming events
Hillstone Fibre Arts (HFA) have collaborated with iiinouiio a textile waste company now based in Birkby, Huddersfield, to produce textile artwork by using their waste, in the form of zips, buttons, labels or pockets, as well as their shredded wool and new yarns.
Alongside our textiles, HFA are working in partnership with the Shoddy Exhibition, charting the history of Dewsbury Shoddy industry, including iinouiio founder Dr John Parkinson’s family history with the last Shoddy Mill in Batley Carr.
HFA have also created artwork from the waste of a second mill, Bower Roebuck based in New Mill, Huddersfield, working with their waste fabric and samples of 100% pure wool.
Our work will be for sale, along with cards, fabric offcuts, brooches and books.
We will also be running drop-in workshops and demonstrations through out the event, please see our social media for further details https://www.facebook.com/hillstonewestyorks/
Open 4 – 28 June, 10-2pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays only
Free to attend. No booking required.
