Cultures of Climate and WOVEN invite you to join us for the launch of our Growing Colour Together publication celebrating the 2023 Growing Colour Together project. The publication showcases the artist-led project creating community dye hubs in Dewsbury, Birkby & Fartown and Kirkburton as well as international contributions from the online talk series exploring the themes of: community connection and co-creation, knowledge exchange and learning together, the sensory process of natural dye practice and growing communities of practice.

Alongside this natural dye artist Jane Howroyd will be selling and signing her publication ‘Woad: A year of colour’ and providing a ‘hands on’ natural dye printing activity – bring items to print!

Cultures of Climate is the 2025 public realm programme from the School of Arts and Humanities, University of Huddersfield

Free to attend but booking is required.
