Foraging Walk for Natural Dyes

Kayleigh Davis is a natural dye textile artist and is passionate about responsible foraging practices and sharing insight into which plants can be foraged locally for natural dyes, making this accessible to those wishing to explore natural dyes in their local area.

We will meet at the grassy area with a gate next to St Patrick’s Catholic Primary Academy on George Avenue. Good walking shoes are recommended as we may wander off the beaten track.

As part of this guided walk, you can expect an educational journey, stopping along the way to learn, share and forage.

The walk is expected to take roughly 45 minutes in total. There will be a short demonstration at the end of the session and the walk itself will be a circular so that we will end up where we started.
