Chestnut Centre in Fabric Bloom – Yarn Bomb

WOVEN and LS2Y is bringing the community together through yarn and textiles! Partnering with local schools, LS2Y Nursery, Deighton Carnival Team, out-of-school clubs, church groups, and craft enthusiasts, and uniting different ages and cultures together to create vibrant artworks for a yarn bomb at The Chestnut Centre.

Located at the heart of the community, this display will brighten the space for countless residents. Beyond the WOVEN festival, the hope is to keep these groups thriving—passing down crafting skills through generations. This intergenerational project not only showcases creativity but also celebrates our rich heritage and textile history, strengthening community bonds.
