Discover the WOVEN 2025 Festival Programme and upcoming events
An exhibition paying homage to and developing the history of art in textiles, from the mythical weaving of Penelope, through the Bayeux tapestry to the fabulous tapestries decorating medieval halls.
The artists in this exhibition, using traditional and innovative modern techniques, show the ability and versatility of using textiles to create true art, fit to stand alongside painting, sculpture and ceramics.
This event is part of the WOVEN community programme. Venues and openings times are yet to be confirmed, so please email Mike Roberts or call him on 07850 439332 at Skelmanthorpe Community Library for them, and with any other questions.
