Get Involved - Volunteering

Volunteers make WOVEN happen. 

Each year WOVEN relies on volunteer support to ensure the festival and all its year round activities are safe, fun and for everyone.

There are always lots to things to do in the background of WOVEN as we develop our programme as support our textile community.

Coming up we have lots of opportunities to get involved:

• Yarn bombing
• Workshops
• Special and one-off events
• General event help 
• Special support for the Calico Dress project

You can also help by spreading the word in your local area through putting up posters and handing out flyers.

We also work closely with Thread Republic and the Dewsbury Arcade and can always signpost you to wider volunteering activities.

There is always tea and cake to help with the make!
