Threads of Kindness and Connection

Unite Respect Connect-Huddersfield and HD5 Community Hub have worked together to involve residents of all ages in sewing, stitching, sticking, printing, drawing, knitting crocheting (and everything in-between), a brilliant bunting bonanza which will be displayed in the Community Garden at Moldgreen URC during June. Each bunting “flag” is unique, just like our community …. and together they are amazing!

From the Church on Old Wakefield Road, right up to the Post Office ’round the corner on Broad Lane – keep an eye out for some colourful “woolly wonders” decorating the street furniture, trees and maybe some surprise locations too! Made with enthusiasm and love by members of the Knit and Natter group at MURC, community crafters and wool whisperers!
