Everyone is welcome to join in this day of creativity!

Join local artist Iqra Rafiq for this family-friendly drop-in session. You can have fun with buttons – or learn the basics of macrame.

Stitch through the Buttons:

Buttons aren’t just for clothes. Learn how to create interesting patterns and shapes by stitching embroidery thread, ribbon and yarn through buttons to make necklaces/jewellery, keyrings and bookmarks.

Macrame Leaves:
Practise the craft of Macrame and create leaves using yarn and macrame string. These can be used as bookmarks, keyrings or room decor.

You don’t need to know anything about textiles or stitching, just bring your creativity and have fun.
