Product Thinking Using Natural Dye: Sashiko, Boro, Applique and Mending

Come and join Nicola and Seiko to learn about basic Sashiko, Boro and Applique techniques.

In this workshop, we will try out these needle techniques using all natural dyed fabrics by Nicola and Seiko. Some of your work will become a part of Botantical, the Kirkburton Showcase, such as a tote bags, aprons and more!

This is a great chance to enjoy and learn how simple techniques can be transferred to a contemporary design product. All materials and some needles are provided, but please bring own scissors if you can.
