DESCRIPTION:Friends of Marsden Park & Marsden WI Cuckoos will be Yarn Bombing Marsden Park as part of WOVEN Festival. \nCome along and see the wonderful array of flowers on display\, or create your own on the day and help decorate the park. \nDONATIONS \nWe would love it if you can make or donate any colour or size of flower before the event. \nThe flowers can be knitted\, crocheted\, stitched or sewn by hand. Please use preloved and recycled yarns\, clothes\, or any other woven textiles. \nFlowers can be dropped off at:\nCuckoos Nest\nKaties Kitchen\nLily Blossom\nMarsden Library\nMarsden Mechanics Mikron Theatre. \nFLOWER MAKING WORKSHOPS \nWe’re also hosting some fun flower making workshops – have a go at creating some beautiful blooms using pre-loved materials. No booking required\, just turn up \nWednesday 28th May\, 1:00pm to 3:00pm and from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Katie’s Homemade Kitchen – Free session with free tea and coffee \nSunday 1st June\, 10:00am to 12:00 noon at Marsden Mechanics – Free \nThis event is part of the WOVEN community programme.
