DESCRIPTION:Bower Roebuck produce woven worsted fabrics from wool and natural blend fibres. The fabrics are sold to the world’s luxury fashion brands. \nJoin us for a one hour tour of the warping and weaving departments where you will see how yarn is prepared for weaving and then woven into a finished fabric. The tour will be run by employees working in the mill and there will be opportunities to ask questions about the processes seen. \nThis will be followed by a tour of the mending department\, where you will get an opportunity to have a go at mending the cloth yourself. This is still done the traditional way\, by hand with a needle and yarn.
