Mindfulness Exercises with Textiles

Allow Jane Howroyd to guide you through two mindfulness exercises exploring textiles in a different way, to see and discover things you maybe haven’t noticed before.

Starting with a short mindful breathing exercise, Jane will then lead you into a mindfulness exercise that uses senses to consider textiles in a more focused way. You will explore your fabric, clothing and senses using mindfulness techniques to see them in the present moment, discovering the feel, look, smell and sound!

Jane offers step by step instructions for trying this activity yourself with your own textiles, and perhaps bringing mindfulness into your daily life.
