Growing Colour Together – Seed Fund Opportunity

Red and orange flower heads in a bowl

Growing Colour Together is more than a project, it’s a MOVEMENT! And our ambition is to create a district-wide, natural dye colour garden.

Working in partnership across the district we want to give everyone the opportunity to ‘have a grow’, use what’s grown to make natural dyes, and learn about the environmental implications of chemical dyes and what we buy.

Growing Colour Together is an evolving project and we want people to join in with the areas that interest you. Grow, make, create, debate!

We are offering 10 schools/community groups £100 in vouchers for a local garden centre to buy the right kit to get started. You will need to agree to send us updates about your garden and that WOVEN’s friendly filmmakers and photographers will be able to get access to your garden and carry out interviews with the community making it happen.

We anticipate a high demand for this seed funding and so we want to know a little bit about your group, your garden and why you want to take part in the movement. Here’s more information and an application form.

Deadline – 5pm on 10 October 2022
