DESCRIPTION:Come and join Andrew Warburton in his studio in Mirfield for a tour of an industrial workshop and the chance to have a go at creating a little piece of hand tufting magic. This is your unique opportunity to learn the Hand Tufting technique using a tufting gun\, and to contribute to a collective wall hanging. \nThe open studio and demo will be run from Area Rugs and Carpets in Mirfield and you will be guided through tufting lines into the canvas using a hand tufting gun. Your work will be incorporated onto the stretched canvas of the sample tufting frame\, resulting in a one-off wall hanging created collectively with your fellow tufting participants who will all have a turn at tufting into the canvas throughout the day. \nDrop in any time between 10am and 4pm to have a go with the tufting gun. \nPlenty of FREE parking.
