Knitted Village

Members of Flockton WI have worked together to make a large representation of the village in yarn. Needles and hooks were put into action back in 2019 but then paused during the pandemic so the majority of the work has been done since January 2023. The charm of the work comes from the fact that the buildings and features have all been designed from photographs by the makers themselves and are, therefore, very individual in style.

The hanging, approximately 2.5 metres by 1.25 metres, will be on display outside the church 24/7 for the duration of the festival.

Two colour garden planters and crochet flowers will enhance the display which will be visible from the main road.
