A Child’s View of Lockdown
June 5 - June 27
A wall hanging expressing the effects lockdown had on the lives of the children living in textile artist Sue Clay’s vicinity in Thongsbridge.
The wall hanging will be inspired by the children’s own experience, a mystery to unfold, exploring ideas, feelings, objects, relationships, sad and happy times experienced during lockdown. Out of this Sue will create visual ideas to form a collaborative composition. This will be interpreted using fleece/felt collage and finally wet felted to create the final wall hanging.
You will be able to visit the wall hanging for the duration of the festival. Location to be confirmed.
This activity has been submitted to the programme and is not being delivered by the WOVEN team. Please get in touch with Sue Clay directly if you need more information.
